HOMEWORK POLICY:

Homework is essential to the learning of the topics covered and is expected to be completed on time.   Assignments will be written on the upper left-hand corner of the side white board.  You should write them in your assignment notebook.

Daily Homework:  Late homework will result in a 30% deduction of points for assignment.  Late assignments must be completed by the end of the unit.  You are allowed to omit one homework assignment per quarter without penalty.  This “freebie” can only be used on overnight assignments.

Lab Report and Project Work:   This work is subject to the “ten percent rule”:  For every day the assignment is late, the grade is reduced by 10%.

Make-up Work:   You will be accountable for arranging completion of missed work within two days of your return.  When you return to school you must remind me of your absent and we will discuss what you missed and you will receive any handouts.  Quizzes and tests can be made up after school or during your study halls.  Getting missed notes is your responsibility.  Seek your partner for help.  If you need further explanation of notes feel free to come in for help.  If you know of a planned absence, please ask for assignments before you leave.

NEED SOME HELP?:  See me during any of the following blocks

                A5, B5, B7, C5, C6, D7
Obviously help is available before and after school
(Please arrange meeting in advance if possible)
