School personnel, a parent, or the student may make a referral.
Students must demonstrate a need for academic, emotional, and/ or organizational support.
Students must demonstrate a desire to improve their academic performance.
Learning Center Staff will research student records and confer with teachers, guidance, etc. if needed.
Learning Center Staff will contact student.
Parent will be contacted by phone or email by the Learning Center Staff.
Students, who are referred to the Learning Center, will be assessed by Student Assistance Team (SAT), which is comprised of administrators, guidance counselors, teachers and staff. If the program is deemed appropriate for the student, he/she will be assigned to the Learning Center.
