Inkwell is Greely High School's literary and art magazine. Professionally published annually, the magazine contains poetry, prose, and artwork submitted by Greely students. There are leadership positions available for literary editor, art editor, and technical editor. Students interested in participating in Inkwell may join the Reading and/or Layout staff. Reading staff members read, score, and discuss the submissions. Once the writing and art have been selected, the Layout staff organizes and edits the magazine. Editors work on the magazine from September to May. Staff members work on the magazine from January to May. Reading meetings begin in late January/early February and occur two days a week either after school and/or in the evenings depending on availability of staff members. Layout meetings begin in late February/early
March and run daily until the magazine is ready to be published. The magazine debuts in May at the Evening of Excellence.
