APPOINTMENTS can be made with Ms. Irving in the office or by phone 829-4810 M-F 7:00-3:30
MAY 1 ALL JUNIORS TAKE THE SAT TEST which will be paid for by the State of Maine. DO NOT REGISTER this had been done for all juniors already. This is a required test. Juniors need to arrive on Saturday, May 1st by 7:35AM with pencils and calculator.
APR 30th LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP PACKETS will be available in Guidance Monday, March 8th. The deadlline for all these are April 30th. These scholarships are: Anderson Mayberry, Cumb/NY lions, Falm/Cumb Chamber, Greely, MSAD 51 Educ Employee, NY School Trust, Storey Family and Student Council.
MAR 9 Q2 HONOR ROLL has been sent to your advisor and is posted on the window in Guidance. Please check the list and let Ms. Irving know of any corrections by Tuesday, March 9th.
MAR 10 JUNIOR COLLEGE NIGHT 6:00-8:00PM in the commons. Juniors and/or parents are invited to attend.
MAR 15 CENTRAL MAINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE APPLICATION/ACCEPTANCE DAY TODAY AT 8:30am. At this meeting you can apply and get a decision in 15 minutes. Please sign up in guidance by March 12th if you are interested. You will need a completed application before you meet with the admissions person. You can also just come in and talk with her as well if you are not ready to apply.
Mar 18 Sophomores in CAREERS there will be a job shadow today, make sure you get your permission slips turn in before that date once you receive them.
Mar 29 CANADIAN COLLEGE/BOARDING SCHOOL FAIR the following schools will be here from 6-8PM in the library: Unviersities-Acadia University, Dalhousie University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, Saint Mary's University, St. Francis Xavier University, University Saint Anne, University of King's College. Boarding School: West Island College-Class Afloat
FYI: NEW ENGLAND BOARD OF HIGHER EDUCATION TUITION BREAK PROGRAM. If you are going to school out of state there may be a chance to get in-state tuition if you qualify. FMI go to www.nebhe.org
